The Assisted Living Incident Command System (ALICS) was developed by AALNA in partnership with the Emergency Management Alliance (EM Alliance) to provide assisted living providers with a standardized, all hazards emergency management system. The EM Alliance consists of a group of consulting firms that provide services to long-term care and senior living facilities within their specific areas of specialty including life safety, security, risk management, emergency preparedness and disaster recovery / restoration. All of the ALICS documents (guide book, checklists, job actions sheets, forms, etc.) are hosted in the EM Alliance Resource Center which includes a multitude of other useful resources designed to help providers prepare, respond and recover from adverse events, emergencies and disasters.
