The Pennsylvania Department of Health’s (DOH) COVID-19 Response Team has been distributing High Energy Particulate Air (HEPA) air purifiers to schools, early childcare facilities, long-term care facilities, government offices that are open to the public, and non-profit organizations to reduce community spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses. These devices are being provided at no cost to eligible facilities, along with two years of replacement filters for optimal use. The federal COVID funding used for this project will be expiring on July 31, 2026. If interested, or if you have any questions, please reach out to the DOH COVID-19 Team’s email RA-DHCOVIDMITIGATION@pa.gov or to the team’s Director, Paul Foster, at 717-547-3179. The deadline for indicating interest in receiving HEPA air purifiers through this project is Friday, April 24th.
