The AALNA Board of Directors voted in November, 2015, to work with Lockton Affinity to offer an optional professional liability insurance benefit for AALNA members. Lockton Affinity was established in 1966 and has grown to be the world’s largest privately owned insurance brokerage firm. Currently, Lockton has 64 worldwide offices, over 4950 associates, insures 27 professional liability groups and issues over 14,000 professional liability policies annually. They have client partnerships with AMDA, VNAA, AANAC and many other similar associations. Lockton has partnered with Hudson Insurance Company to provide extremely affordable professional liability coverage for RNs, LPNs, and LVNs who are employed or self-employed, as well as coverage for nursing students and Nurse Practitioners.
