AALNA has partnered with HIGN to offer a comprehensive leadership series to its membership. Created by HIGN, this series aims to foster leadership skills for nurses across the healthcare spectrum. The goal is to have more nurses serve as drivers of quality care for patients and residents, which ensures positive health outcomes. Upon successfully completing each of the topics, nurses will receive a certificate for 1 hour of Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) (formerly CEU) from HIGN/NYU. When you have completed all 7 topics, you may submit your certificates to AALNA along with your proof of licensure as an RN or LPN. You will receive certification by AALNA as a Certified Clinical Nurse Leader (C-CNL) This will be renewable every 4 years with a fee of $75 to AALNA and the completion of
20 NCPD hours.
