ENGINEERING STUDENT USES 3D PRINTERS TO MAKE FACE SHIELDS FOR LONG TERM CARE PROVIDERS
A New Jersey chemical engineering student uses his time between remote classes to manufacture face shields for area nursing care providers. His eleven 3D printers have already made over 1,000 shields for the heavily-impacted New York area. “If there’s some way I can fix this in the slightest, this is what I’m gonna do,” he said.

U.S. SENATOR THOM TILLIS GIVES MESSAGE OF SUPPORT TO LONG TERM CARE WORKERS
Senator Thom Tillis from North Carolina sent a heartfelt message to all long term care staff across the nation, saying they are “on the front lines,” of combating the spread of COVID-19.

COLLEGE SOCCER TEAM SENDS VIDEO MESSAGE TO AL COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUP
Members of the University of Portland Women’s Soccer Team recorded a video message for their local support group, the “Pilot Pals,” an intergenerational partnership between the university and local Marquis Piedmont Assisted Living residents. The residents routinely watch and support the team.
